Alpheus Warfle was born 1812 in Schoharie County, New York. About 1835 he married Susan (1812-1860) in Broome County, New York. Alpheus was a shingle maker and farmer.
After his first wife's death, Alpheus married Catharine (1820-) but they did not have any children. In 1870, they were living in Choconut, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, the town just south of Vestal. He is buried in Tracy Creek Cemetery, Vestal.
