Anne Merrill was born in 1509 in England (probably Bedfordshire).

Anne married John Spencer (c1500-1558). She died in April 1560 and was buried June 16 according to some records. It hardly seems likely that it took two months to bury her unless there was a late winter.

Children

  1. Michael Spencer (c1530-?)
  2. Gerard Spencer (c1543-?)
  3. John Spencer (1555-1560)

Her brother Edward Merrill was mentioned in her will dated June 13, 1560 and proved April 21, 1561. Bascially, he received the £1 pound he borrowed from her previously.
