Catharine Losey (1818-1882)

Mary Catharine Losey was born August 19, 1818 in Stillwater Township, Sussex County, New Jersey. Her parents were John Losey and Hannah Hendershot (c1777-?).
Catharine married William C. Huff (1818-1898) on December 3, 1835 in Stillwater Township where her family lived. The family lived along the Flatbrookville-Stillwater road, which is still there but does not go all the way through any more. Flatbrookville was a village situated along the 'hook' in the Delaware River. Trade and travel was certainly affected by the river.
She died January 22, 1882 in Walpack Township and is buried in the old Flatbrookville cemetery, which is on private land today.
