Johann Conrad Menges (F1) was born about 1730 in present-day Germany, possibly Württemberg. He married Anna Maria _____ (c1735-c1759) about 1752.
Conrad and Anna Maria traveled to Philadelphia aboard the brig Mary & Sarah, arriving October 26, 1754[1][2]. About 1760 he married Catharine _____ (?-1795). Conrad died December 9, 1797 in Forks Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Conrad has been assigned the immigrant code "F" by the Menges Family Association of America.
On April 21, 1766 Conrad purchased in Forks Township, Northampton County.[need citation]
On October 10, 1777 he took the Oath of Allegiance in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.[need citation]
In 1780, "Conrad Jr." and his father, "Conrad Sr." paid taxes in Forks Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.[3]
