Esther Brownell (1805-1885)

Esther Brownell was born Monday, August 1, 1805 in Pawling, Dutchess County, New York to Edward Brownell (1782-1836) and Elizabeth Denton (1785-1821). NOTE: The DENTON surname is currently in question. Others have suggested Elizabeth Kane.

Ether married Lyman Spencer (1803-1898) about 1826 in Pawling. They moved to Burlington, Bradford County, Pennsylvania between 1865 and 1867.

Esther died Tuesday, March 18, 1885 at the age of 81 years, 7 months, 6 days and was buried two days later at Mt. Lake Cemetery.
