Frederick E. Mingos (1869-1936)

Frederick Edward Mingos (F6) was born August 1869 in Monroeton, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. His parents were Edward E. Mingos (1844-1916) and Francis L. Bowman (1844-1888).
He married Leah M. Snell (1876-1968) of Chemung, New York in 1898. Fred worked as a telegraph operator for the railway station and lived most of his life in Monroeton. He was clerk of the Monroe Council, fire policeman for the Monroe Hose Co, Past Master of the Evergreen Masonic Lodge and a life member of the Presbyterian Church. He died at Sayre hospital of a blood clot in 1936 while recovering from an ulcer operation.
Fred died October 25, 1936 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre of a blood clot while recovering from an ulcer operation at the age of 67 years, 2 months.
