Jay R. Spencer (1898-1982)

Jay Ralph Spencer was born October 15, 1898 to Henry H. Spencer (1875-1964) and Minnie A. Mingos (1879-1952) in Burlington Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
He married Minnie M. Williams (1896-1963) in Towanda, Pennsylvania. Jay Ralph SPENCER & Minnie Margaret WILLIAMS married on 12 Jan 1916 in Towanda by Rev A.E. Hale. Miss Williams is from Wysox while her groom is from North Towanda.[1]
Jay worked for the Lehigh Valley Railroad (LVRR) for many years in the Sayre Shops. When they wanted to put him on the line he quit and worked various jobs until his retirement.
Jay died January 30, 1982 in Burlington. He is buried in the Bradford County Memorial Park Cemetery next to his wife.
