Johanna O'Brien

Johanna O'Brien, also known as Julia, was born in Ireland. Very little is known about her at this time except that she lived in St. John's parish.
Julia O'Brien married Michael Deely on December 6, 1843 in the Church of Ireland (ie: Protestant) parish of St John's. Julia (synonymous with Johanna) lived in St John's Parish. While the marriage took place in a Protestant church, their children were baptized in a Catholic church; hinting that this may have been an inter-church marriage or the marriage location may have been to satisfy the regiment.
