Joseph F. Williams (1872-1908)
From My Research Wiki
Joseph Franklin Williams was born August 5, 1872 to Albert L. Williams (1842-1922) and Harriet C. Rutan (1846-1927) in Branchville, Frankford Township, Sussex County, New Jersey.
Frank moved to Standing Stone Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania when he was 15 or 16 years old. He married Sarah M. Huff (1874-1940) about March 18, 1889. She was 15. Frank was working on the railroad, probably the Lehigh Valley Railroad, as general labor. The family moved back to Sussex County for a while before returning to Bradford County. Frank was a blacksmith in later years.
He died October 15, 1908 in Wysox Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania due to acute gastritis and excessive use of stimulant (probably alcohol) for the better part of a year. Note that his wife was pregnant with Grace when he died.
