Wars
From My Research Wiki
War has been called the "last resort of diplomacy". That might be true if our ancestors (or their leaders) understood or practiced diplomacy but most wars are really about taking something someone else has more of than you, or pure ego. Wars have caused our ancestors famine or disease.
War has been grouped into several type including colonial, religious, rebellions, civil (two parties fighting for control of the same government), trade, dynastic, succession, and extortionist. Most medieval European wars resulted in huge financial gain for one or more parties involved in the war because plunder and slaves were usually the pay soldiers received. Important people might be ransomed for money too.
This page lists a few of the many wars in our past. Most are centered around European conflicts but more will be added as time permits.
